You and Dr. Rene Cabrera may determine that you need a tooth extraction for any number of reasons. Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed; others may have advanced periodontal disease, or have broken in a way that cannot be repaired.
Bond Grafting Procedures
Bone grafting procedures Removal of teeth is sometimes necessary because of pain, infection, bone loss, or due to a fracture in the tooth. The bone that holds the tooth in place (the socket) is often damaged by disease and/or infection, resulting in a deformity of the jaw after the tooth is extracted.
Sinus Lift
A sinus lift is a specialized bone grafting procedure when the maxillary sinuses are too close to the jawbone, there may not be enough room for the placement of dental implants then a sinus lift is needed in order to move the sinus membrane upward, creating enough space to place a bone graft that will later support your dental implant.
